1. Who We Are

Neurelle is an application designed to support parents, caregivers, and professionals who care for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Neurelle is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, therapy, or emergency services.

2. Data We Collect

• Account data: email address, encrypted password
• Profile data: full name, preferred language, account type
• Child profile data: name, age, communication type, support needs (optional, parent-provided)
• Usage data: crisis logs, trigger diary entries, progress logs, AI chat history, routines, social stories, reports
• Subscription data: subscription status and purchase history (managed by RevenueCat)
• Technical data: device type, OS version, app version

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the Neurelle app features
• To personalise AI guidance based on your child's profile
• To manage your subscription and restore purchases
• To send push notifications (only with your explicit permission)
• We do NOT sell your data to third parties
• We do NOT use your data for advertising

4. Child Data

Neurelle is designed for adults (parents, caregivers, professionals). We do not knowingly collect data directly from children under 13. Child profile data is provided by the account holder (adult) and is used solely to personalise the app experience. You can delete it at any time from the app settings.

5. Third-Party Services

• Supabase (supabase.com) — database, authentication, storage
• Anthropic (anthropic.com) — AI language model for chat guidance
• RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) — subscription and purchase management
• Apple App Store / Google Play — in-app purchases and billing

We do not use advertising networks, social media trackers, or analytics tools that share your data.

6. Data Security

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Database access is protected by Row Level Security (RLS)
• Passwords are never stored in plain text

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your data, delete your account (Settings → Delete Account), correct inaccurate data, export your data, and withdraw consent for push notifications. Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

8. Data Retention

• Active account data: retained while your account is active
• Deleted account data: permanently erased within 30 days
• Anonymised statistics: may be retained indefinitely in aggregated form

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of Neurelle after changes constitutes acceptance.
